Navy Federal Credit Union Honors Servicemembers and Their Families for Military Appreciation Month

Navy Federal Credit Union is launching special offers and celebratory activities throughout the month of May to honor servicemembers and their families for Military Appreciation Month.

“Creating opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of military members and their families has been at the heart of what we do for 90 years now,” said Carrie Foran Sepulveda, vice president of membership at Navy Federal Credit Union. “We’re excited to be partnering with Operation Gratitude again this year to further extend our efforts towards making an even greater impact on servicemembers and their families.”

Navy Federal is donating $50,000 to Operation Gratitude as a proud partner in their mission to provide hands-on volunteer opportunities in the military community. Over the last 20 years, Operation Gratitude has sent over 3.8 million care packages with items meant to boost morale and resilience of active-duty servicemembers around the world.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our nation's Armed Forces in meaningful ways during Military Appreciation Month and throughout the year," said Carolyn Blashek, founder and interim CEO of Operation Gratitude. "Thanks to the generosity and partnership of organizations like Navy Federal Credit Union, we not only honor the service of countless heroes, but also enable citizens across America to express their deep appreciation, and say "Thank You" to all who serve.”
