In this role, Puckett will oversee Red River’s diverse government programs portfolio and provide strategic direction and management for the teams delivering mission-critical IT solutions and services programs to government agencies.

Puckett is a former Air Force Cyber Officer with 25 years of service in the military and extensive experience bringing emerging technologies to the Department of Defense. With over 30 years supporting military and federal government contracting, he is a proven leader with a broad range of expertise including systems engineering and integration, software engineering and development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, network operations, cloud architectures, information assurance and cybersecurity.

“Curtis’ technical expertise and unique understanding of the demands on federal and DoD customers makes him a perfect fit for Red River,” said Red River CEO Brian Roach. “He deeply understands the markets we serve and what it means to deliver transformative solutions to enable mission success. His leadership and knowledge will be invaluable for our team and our customers.”

Before joining Red River, Puckett most recently served as the Vice President and General Manager of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) Defense Agencies sector. He began his career in information technology with the Air Force, before finishing his 25-year career as a cyber officer with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), where he managed the Cyberspace and National Intelligence Division for the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). In 2009, Puckett was stationed at the Combined Air and Space Operations Center (CAOC) as the IT Director of Communications at Al Udeid, Qatar to successfully transition CENTCOM/AFCENT’s operations from a temporary facility into an enduring facility without disrupting ongoing missions in the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).

“Red River’s history of supporting federal agencies and bringing innovation to the front lines with a dynamic and talented team of experts makes this an exciting next chapter of my career,” said Puckett. “I enjoy the challenge of finding new ways to solve complex challenges and reimagining what technology can do. Red River has created an environment that supports and nurtures talent in finding that path forward together and I am proud to be a part of this team.”
