Red Cap Plumbing, Air & Electric Helps Area Homeowner for Annual “Red Cap Gives Back” Program

Florida home service leaders Red Cap Plumbing, Air & Electric, a Wrench Group company and a “Best of the Bay” award winner, proudly announced the recipient of its 2023 holiday “Red Cap Gives Back” community initiative.

“Red Cap Gives Back” was created by employees a decade ago to find instances where they can donate their skills and time to help others in the Tampa community, then contribute or fund the materials for each case. It’s about trying to make the community a better place to live, one act of kindness at a time.

This year’s recipient is a hardworking area family that is struggling with making ends meet. Due to longstanding structural and insulation issues with their house, the homeowner, a deaf woman in her 60s, was dealing with major utility bills she could no longer afford. Red Cap’s team of volunteers sprang into action and installed two new air conditioning units, a new gas water heater, plumbing and electrical upgrades, as well as provided lawn care service and a pizza feast for the family to top it off.

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by giving back,” said Red Cap President Yeshua Stathos. “We are grateful to the best team in the land for how quickly and completely they jumped in to help make this family’s wish come true and for the hard work they put in every single day.”
