Elvitex S.A. was founded in 1973. The company specialises in manufacturing working and military clothing with base technical specifications of the Greek Army, the Greek Navy, the e.c. and the NATO.
The unit functions in privately-owned facilities with total accommodated surface of 6.500 square metres on one ground level, that is located in the community of Polysitos in prefecture Xanthi. Main office of the company is located in Athens.
The company has high technology equipment for covering all needs of the market in variety, quantity and quality. The company's target is its continuous strengthening in the market through its constant production quality.
In 1998, Elvitex's quality system was verified by the ISO 9001 standard by Elot for the design, production and sales of clothing and sleeping-bags for armed forces, security forces and public organizations as well as for the sales of textiles.
In 2003 the certificate was expanded for the production and sales of tents, bedding parts and accessories.
