AEROMOT INDUSTRIA MECANICO-METALURGICA LTDA., is an industrial arm of AEROMOT Group, certified under FAA rules. The Company manufactures aircraft seats for most Boeing, McDonnel-Douglas and Fairchild models of large commercial Jets as well as EMBRAER Brasilia and Bandeirante aircraft.
- Manufactures the Ximango family of motorgliders including: AMT-200 "SUPER XIMANGO" (80HP), AMT-200S "SUPER XIMANGO (100 HP)", and AMT-300 "XIMANGO SHARK" certified by the American FAA, British CAA, French DGAC, German LBA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Colombia, Argentina, etc. Airworthiness Agencies,
- Manufactures drones for artillery training.
AEROMOT INDUSTRIA was awarded a contract to supply 14 motorgliders for USAFA (United States Air Force Academy), delivered between May 2002 and May 2003. One AMT-200S made a record-breaking tour around the word in 2001.
AEROMOT Industria also developed and certified an aircraft for basic training: the AMT-600 "GURI", being used by Military Police of Rio Grande do Sul state and by DAC - Civil Aviation Department of Brazil to equip Brazilian Airclubs for formation of aircraft pilots. Grupo AEROMOT, besides seats, has been supplying aircraft structural parts, since 1969, to EMBRAER, all of them designed, certified and manufactured in accordance with international standards, including FAA, CAA, DGAC, LBA, etc.
VISION
AEROMOT Group intends to be a well equipped General Aviation Maintenance Center in Southern Brazil (AEROMOT Aeronaves e Motores) and the manufacturer of General Aviation aircraft in Brazil (AEROMOT Industria Mecanico-Metalurgica), using modern technology (composite material) and taking as first consideration to comply with the desires of their customers and trends of the market.
