In thirty years of operation Telkoor has developed dozens of custom military power supplies for various applications. By slightly altering some parameters the PSU could meet the customer’s needs without developing it from scratch and re-qualifying it.

The use of modified standard products is cost effective and results with fast time-to-market It involves minimal development costs and no up-front NRE money is required.

Modified-standard power supplies will make it into users hands in weeks. Architecturally, modified-standard power supplies provide a very satisfactory alternative. Delivery times aside, the great advantage of the modified-standard approach is that it often comes without significant, or any, overhead, i.e., NRE (nonrecurring engineering) costs. The beauty of modified standards is that they can give you a custom fit for a standard price.

Our philosophy is to offer our customers a modified-standard product  from our comprehensive range of commercial and military power supplies. Many of these power supplies are manufactured in volume, allowing us to pass on the advantage of economies of scale, proven manufacturing and short lead times.

Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) power supplies are manufactured commercially, readily available, and are non-development items.  These power supplies, when ruggedized may be used in harsh environment applications. COTS systems are in contrast to custom power supplies, systems that are produced entirely and uniquely for the specific application therefore offering potentially large cost and time savings.

Our COTS power supplies are not produced only for the defense market, but they may be widely used in transportation (railway) and industrial systems, thus providing high reliability cost effective systems.

Our philosophy is first to try to offer COTS products to our customers in order to ensure low unit costs and short time-to-market. When COTS products are not suitable for the systems, we will offer modified-standard products. Only when both COTS and Modified-Standard are not applicable, we will offer custom power supplies.

The Telkoor  µTCA (Micro TCA ) Power supplies  series are the industry's leading, delivering 600W continuous power to 12 separate Channels.

The Telkoor  µTCA products are compliant with the PICMG MicroTCA.0 Revision1.0 specification power interface   using the standard  µTCA connector.
These µTCA power supplies incorporate active power factor correction, 85-264VAC universal input.

This model offer customers a monitor and control (M&C) system based on an intelligent IPMI Bus that provides comprehensive remote status monitoring and control functionalities.

The CompactPCI (cPCI = Compact Peripheral Component Interface) series are the industry's leading cPCI AC/DC power supplies delivering up to 500W continuous power.

Our full range of CompactPCI (cPCI) products are compliant with the PICMG® 2.11 power interface specification using the standard Positronic 47-pin connector.

These CompactPCI power supplies incorporate active power factor correction, 85-264VAC universal or DC input models covering a range from 18-72VDC, making it ideal for use in every application.

Telkoor's unique design using two converters in parallel, one for the +3.3V and the other for the +5V, enable the user the flexibility to determine unique load requirements for each channel independently. The Open Frame series are the industry's smallest open frame AC/DC switchers that deliver up to 500W continuous power from one to four outputs. These power supplies incorporate active power factor correction and 85-264VAC universal input, making them ideal for use worldwide. The Open Frame  series are all built in a 3"x5" and 4" X 7" 1U configuration making them the highest density open frame power supplies available on the market today.

The series of DC/DC switchers are especially configured for the Telecom market. Built-in "ORing" diodes for 1:1 & N+1 redundancy configurations are part of our standard product. The open frame series of AC/DC switchers are also available with internal "ORing" diodes, allowing for redundancy & Hot Swap applications.
