NAVCAR S.A.S., is a Colombian company founded in Bogota in 1984. The Company specializes in the design and manufacture of metal and plastic pieces, as well as control cables for the automotive, industrial and agricultural sectors. Its production plant has several production lines, dedicated to the development of automotive parts, motorcycle parts, industrial components, hardware components, naval/marine components and cables for almost all types of applications. Nowadays, the Company is considered the primary national producer of control cables.
NAVCAR S.A.S., is certified under ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification and is focused on the continuous improvement of processes and the constant development of new products, in order to meet the needs of the market.
NAVCAR S.A.S. recently inaugurated a modern 4,000 mts² production plant in the municipality of Tocancipá, Cundinamarca and is equipped with over 100 employees in different work areas. The Company exports to over fifteen countries throughout America, including the United States and Mexico and supplies both the automotive OEM and replacement markets.

Plastic Coating Services
NAVCAR S.A.S. specializes in plastic coating and injection molding processes on steel cables with the application of different materials, such as PVC and Nylon.
Products for the Automotive Sector
NAVCAR S.A.S. supplies the automotive sector with:
Control cables: Manufacture and distribution of a broad portfolio of control cables for automotive use.
Bushings: NAVCAR’s polyurethane bushings have a great ability to recover their original shape thanks to the high technology applied.
Brake hoses: Brake hoses in compliance with SAE standards for hydraulic applications.
Pulleys: Manufacture of pulleys with a high load transmission capacity, ideal for the suppression of vibrations and noise, with robust design, high resistance against wearing, high flexibility and functionality in a wide temperature range.
Products for the Motorcycle Sector
NAVCAR S.A.S. offers a variety of products, namely control cables, brake hoses, speedometer gears and polyurethane bushings, among others for major motorcycle brands in Colombia.
Products for the General Industry
Stainless steel cables: NAVCAR S.A.S. manufactures and distributes steel cables in different dimensions, materials and finishes, such as steel core or fibre core cables in galvanized or stainless steel. The Company also develops plasticized steel cables in different materials, such as PVC and Nylon.
Cable accessories: The Company offers a variety of components for freight transportation, such as ropes, winches, cleats, shackles, turnbuckles, caps, hooks, pulleys and slings.
Heavy Machinery Products
NAVCAR S.A.S. manufactures and commercialises spare parts and components for heavy machinery and vehicles.
The Company’s portfolio includes control cables for different applications, as well as polyurethane products, such as engine mounts and polyurethane bushings used in vehicle suspension systems.
The Company also offers hoses for hydraulic brakes and pulleys, as well as a range of accessories for load transportation, such as winches, ropes with or without ratchets, in different sizes and load capacities.
TPU Thermoplastic Polyurethane
NAVCAR manufactures TPU thermoplastic polyurethane highly versatile materials that combine the elasticity of rubber and the durability of metals.
They can be processed with the application of injection molding, extrusion and blow molding processes, and among the benefits are the reduction of weight, noise and production costs.
