SPIRODUCTOS designs and manufactures spiral ducts through the joining of metal rings (137 mm width), held together by spiral seams, which are mechanical 4-ply locks (RL-1 SMACNA), thus avoiding welding, soldering or riveting that would distort the material, while on the other hand providing greater resistance.

The fittings are fastened with spot welding and sealed with silicone. The standard coupling between the fittings and ducts is male-female with a bolted flange or quick clamp union.

Manufactured from a sheet metal coil (1220 mm width). The TDF system (Transversal Duct Flange) is generally known as “the four bolt connection” and has had great acceptance as an alternative to the reinforced transverse joint T-25b by SMACNA. The flange is integrated to the wall of the duct using the same metal sheet and once the duct is folded, the rectangular flange is formed. This is completed with the quick and easy installation of 4 corner elements (cal. 1.5 mm) that hold the 4 carriage screws in place.

The longitudinal seam is a mechanical lock (L-2 or L-1 SMACNA) without welding or rivets, thus avoiding material deformation or deterioration and providing greater resistance and excellent presentation. It also has an exclusive double flange at each end that reduces air leakage at the corners, providing better sealing in the joint. The manufacturing process complies with the SMACNA international technical standards.
