Odessa Aircraft Plant was established in 1911, as an Aviation repair Plant, part of the larger state concern Ukronboromprom. During the years of its existence, the company has mastered the repair of 28 types of planes and 16 types of aircraft engines. In 2011, the company celebrated its 100th anniversary.
The plant partakes in a range of production and services, including:
- Aircraft repair: MiG-21 (all modifications), MiG-23, MiG-27, L-39
- Full Overhaul (Yak-52, Yak-55)
- Mid-life repair
- On-condition repair
- Upgrade/ Modernisation; Mig-21 and L-39
- Repair of aircraft engines and their aggregates (MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27, MiG-29, L-39, Su-27, An-12, An-24, An-26, Yak-40):
- Equipping flying hospitals and salons of enhanced comfort for transport aviation aircraft and helicopters
- Manufacturing of rubber products for Aviation
- Manufacturing of aircraft glazing components of stretched and non-stretched organic glass for all types of aviation equipment
- Production of Test Equipment
- Staff Training: air and technical crews of their customers
