State Enterprise Central Design "Izumrud" is a part of the larger state concern Ukroboronprom, and specialises in the design, support and research of maritime transport, docks and other floating structures.
IZUMRUD’s specialists have created approximately 60 designs for ships, docks, quays, and other floating structures. Based on the designs, over 200 fleet units and other facilities have been built and successfully operated throughout the world. IZUMRUD Central Design Office is able to provide a spectrum of services starting from the pre-design stage to organising the construction process. Additional services include choosing modern construction materials and equipment, carrying out technical supervision, obtaining all necessary permits at all stages, and project commissioning.
