Arab Wings, was established in 1975 and stands as the first private jet charter operator in the Middle East. Based in Jordan, Arab Wings has taken its place as the regional leader in safety, quality and customer service amongst its peers. Arab wings services today include ad-hoc charter, air ambulance service, aircraft management, dedicated aircraft for special missions and a certified aircraft maintenance centre. Arab wings is also certified to do handling services out of all airports in Jordan. In 2010 Gulf wings, Arab wings sister company was granted it’s aircraft operating certificate (AOC) in the United Arab Emirates. This achievement added to the flexibility its group could offer to its clients.

Arab Wings and Gulf Wings are owned by the International Wings Group (IWG). IWG also owns the Royal Jordanian Air Academy (www.royalflight.com) and Queen Noor Technical College (www.qnac.edu.jo).

Arab Wings adheres to the latest international aviation regulations and has mature systems and procedures to ensure an unparalleled commitment to safety, quality and efficiency. Maintenance Center

Arab Wings holds the following approvals from the local authority (Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission):

  • Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO); Approval No. CRAC.CAMO.005
  • Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO); Approval No. CARC.AMO.10

Under these approvals; Arab Wings performs line and base maintenance on the following aircraft types (capability details are listed in the company Maintenance Organization Exposition): Bombardier Challenger-604/605, Learjet 60, Embraer Legacy 600/650, Gulfstream G450, Cessna Sovereign 680, Hawker Beechcraft 800XP & Hawker Beechcraft Kingair B200.

Arab Wings has a team of engineers and mechanics who are highly experienced and type qualified to a Manufacturer Level Training on all types maintained. To enable smooth operation, the facilities are equipped with all manufacturer required equipment and tools. Also, maintenance data is kept up to date through on line subscriptions with all manufacturers and vendors.

To maintain a high quality level, Arab Wings Quality Assurance department continuously monitors compliance with regulatory requirements and its internal policies and procedures.

In addition, Arab Wings has recently been selected by Bombardier as an AOG Line Maintenance Authorized Service Facility for the Challenger 604/605. Future plans are already laid down to build a new state of the art Maintenance Facility and to raise the capabilities to cover the full range of maintenance required on the above listed aircraft types as well as adding new types.
