Air Systems

Jacobs provides its clients with testing and development support for technologies ranging from engines and jet canopies to aircraft and weapons systems, as well as electronic testing such as airborne threat simulation (ATS). Additionally, as the U.S. Department of Defense increases its focus on cyber warfare and unmanned air systems, Jacobs can assist with advanced sensors, automated targeting, and unmanned weapons systems.

The Company is also a leading developer of defense aircraft mission planning software tools with capabilities for analysis and reporting of navigation and mission data, navigation data verification and validation, military airdrop planning, and CNS/ATM compliance, as well as eLearning development for the software tools.

Land Systems

Jacobs provides full life cycle management services to the U.S. Department of Defense, including: integrated logistics and fielding support; new equipment training; repair and refit services; electronic, automation, and systems engineering support; and other logistics support services required by Army regulations for the fielding of land systems. The Company also supports the PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS); the Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC); and the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), providing the full range of material support services for various land systems.

Sea Systems

The Company focus on providing its clients with support in the development, testing, evaluation, and maintenance of their sea-based defense technologies. For the Australian Department of Defence, it provided such services as systems engineering and integration, in-service engineering and logistics support of ship mechanical and combat systems, supervision of ship refits on Anzac class frigates, and logistics and engineering support to the Canberra-Class Amphibious Assault Ship for the Royal Australian Navy. Also provides a resident project team for Australia’s Customs and Border Protection Service to supervise construction of the Cape-Class Patrol Boat (CCPB). In addition, it supports the Royal Australian Navy’s submarine project.

Furthermore, the Company has supported the United Kingdom submarine program since 1984, providing the Ministry of Defence solutions in nuclear submarine construction and infrastructure support, and augmenting its programs with effective and economic solutions, as well as support services such as project and program management support, nuclear engineering, and civil and structural engineering expertise. Jacobs also works with the U.S. DOD’s Combatant Craft Program Management Office (CCPMO), and contributes regularly to the U.S. Navy’s workload through SeaPort-e.

Space Systems

Jacobs provides support for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in areas such as development, engineering, testing and operation, and launch support, which has resulted in a long and successful partnership.

Personal Protective Systems

With years of experience and a drive for safety, its highly-skilled personnel provide support to clients at locations around the country and worldwide in the research, development, test, evaluation, distribution, and storage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other protective systems.
