JAISARA TOOLING SYSTEMS served the needs of private and public sector companies in the machine tools and civil aviation industries, as well as ordinance factories. The maximum size of press tool built by the Company weighed 16 Metric tons and measured 2.75m x 1.70m.

Early on, the Company is well-equipped precision tool room distinguished itself in the design and manufacture of various types of production tooling for Armored Personnel Carriers and Machine Tools.

In 1993, the Company was chosen by Air India Limited, Mumbai, to pilot the indigenisation of PWA-4056 engine overhaul tooling for their Boeing 747-400 aircraft. This was a part of their joint effort with United Technologies International-Pratt & Whitney, USA, to get some of their required tooling manufactured indigenously for Engine Overhaul for A1, B1, B2 and B3 levels. The Company won this order against stiff national competition. The order had stringent quality requirements, and tough delivery schedules and commitments. It also required load testing. This was a milestone in its efforts to become exporters of hi-tech tooling, an achievement the Company’s team is very proud of.

The Company’s export of aircraft engine overhaul tooling started with an initial order for the supply of tooling valued at over $20,000 for UT-Pratt & Whitney, USA, the world’s leading aircraft engine manufacturer. The Company has since then been an approved supplier to UT – P&W and exported more than 40,000 tools valued at $3,500,000. This is now its core business.

Over the years the Company has built a team of dedicated workers and engineers, who have developed a high level of teamwork, professional skills, and expertise that are reflected in their commitment to excellence and quality. The Company is an ISO 9001 certified company. It has also initiated implementation of UT-P&W’s ACE Program, a comprehensive system to ensure quality.

In addition to building in-house expertise the Company has invested in extensive vendor development. It has dependable sub-contractors for rough machining and also for specialized operations, like heat-treatment, plating and surface-protection treatment, material testing etc.
