LIG Next1

LIG Nex1, is a South Korean aerospace manufacturer and defense company, which is part of LG Corp. It was formerly known as NEX1 Future and before that, as LG Innotek. It was established in 1976 as Goldstar Precision. LIG Nex1 is wholly owned by LIG Holdings Company, which in turn is owned by the LIG Group. The LIG Group is owned by the LG corporation, one of South Korea's largest conglomerates.

The Company develops and produces a wide range of advanced precision electronic systems, including missile, underwater weapon systems, radars, electronic warfare, avionics, tactical communication systems, fire control systems, naval combat systems, and electro-optics. It is one of the major suppliers of weapon systems for the Republic of Korea Armed Forces, as well as an international exporter of weapon systems.

LIG Nex1 has continued along a steady path of growth and progress over the past thirty years. Today, it not only stands at the very top of the Korean defense industry, but has also made a name for itself in the international arena. In this age of rapid changes and cutthroat competition, it has been the boundless passion and untiring efforts of its dedicated staff that have shaped LIG Nex1 into what it is today.

LIG Nex1’s goal is to complete a field-oriented service system that connects the entire process from the development and production of world-class precision weapon systems to an Integrated Logistics Support, based upon which the Company will explore new markets and further expand its customer base.
