Mahindra Emirates Vehicle Armoring Fz LLC (MEVA), is a premium vehicle armoring company experienced in the fields of engineering, prototyping and manufacturing of armored cars, and other armored vehicles.

As a commitment to providing the highest standards by using the latest methods in vehicle protection, in December 2014 Mahindra Emirates Vehicle Armouring completed an armoured vehicle certification program with Qinetiq from the UK using the methods and procedures laid out in the new BSI PAS 300. The Company has passed with one of the best results ever recorded for an up armoured civilian vehicle, Achieving BSI PAS 300, VSAG 12 VS6, VPAM BRV 2009 VR7 and VPAM ERV 2010 VR7 standards.

MEVA provides a full vehicle armoring solution by taking a holistic approach in the design and engineering process, ensuring all potential weaknesses are eliminated.

For applications such as VIP close protection, armed convoys and patrols, it is suitable to use armored SUV and armored cars, such as the Mahindra Up Armoured Scorpio, Mahindra Marksman and Armored Toyota Land Cruiser, due to the vehicles’ discrete appearance. It is important to note that even though they are equipped with full armoring and various safety features such as run-flat tires and blast protection, these armored security vehicles are designed to provide a means of evasion from the threat, not head to head combat.

In addition to armored 4x4s and armored sedans, MEVA also manufactures special purpose vehicles that are custom designed for specific applications like Cash in transit (CIT) vans and armored ambulances.
