The MARINE INDUSTRIES ORGANIZATION (MIO), is a subsidiary of Defense Industries Organization located in Tehran. Its affiliates include Shahid Julaei Offshore Industries, Shahid Darvishi Offshore Industries, Shahid Tamjidi Offshore Industries, Shahid Mousavi Offshore Industries, and the Offshore Design and Research Center and among its portfolio of products are vessels with missile and torpedo launching capabilities and other surface and subsurface military vessels. The Company initiated its activities in 1986.
