SAMYANG COMTECH CO. LTD, was established in 1962 and have been manufacturing ballistic helmets, bullet proof vests, armor plates and supplying the Korean government for over 40 years.
The Company specializes in personal armor system. In 2002, it succeeded in developing a new ballistic helmet which is the lightest in the world (1, 150g). SAMYANG’s helmets and plates are mostly made of Dyneema (DSM) which is acknowledged as the strongest material for ballistic protection.
In cooperation with the government, SAMYANG has obtained manufacturing licenses for the Korean defense industry and has been awarded many times by the government for its devotion and services.
The Company is also certified for the manufacture of aircraft and helicopter parts, working with Boeing and Sikorsky. The Company has been certified under ISO 9001, NADCAP and AS9100 and its products are certified by H. P. White Lab and NIJ.
