Yanbu Industrial College

Yanbu Industrial College (YIC), in Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah is a 25-minute drive from the Prince Abdul Mohsin Bin Abdul Aziz Airport, the city’s international airport. The College is located about 350KM north of Jeddah on the coast of the Red Sea.

The YIC campus is home to Chemical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power Engineering Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Industrial Management Technology, Information & Computer Technology, Geomatics Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology students, who have access to 335 thoroughly qualified and experienced faculty members. All of its engineering and management programs are accredited from top international agencies such as ABET Inc. (formerly Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) and ACBSP – Accreditation Council for 3 Business Schools and Programs. The English Language Center at Yanbu (ELCY) is one of the largest English language training facilities in the Kingdom, and home to a further 120 highly qualified male and female faculty working in four distinct colleges.

The ELCY received a most prestigious international accreditation from the USA-based CEA (Commission on English Language Program Accreditation) in 2012. Applicable to all its programs, from the Preparatory English program (ENG 000 for fundamental English, and the 001 and 002 levels for its regular Preparatory English program) through the Associate and Bachelor degree levels, this 5 years accreditation is a first for any English language training institute in the Kingdom.
