	Video Borescope Inspections of Engines Tropical's two equipments are completely new and are housed permanently along with one of the company's technician at the Guarulhos Airport-Sao Paulo, in addition to the equipment based at Galeao Airport.-Rio de Janeiro, capable of taking pictures and films of all necessary parts. The equipment is operated by two technicians that have the Aeronautical Mechanical License and long experience with airliners. The location of the company's equipment also permits to move it quickly to other cities all over Latin America, whenever it is necessary for normal inspections or in case of Bird-Strikes or F.O.D. ingestion. The Company's technicians exclusively do this type of job for TROPICAL, and in the last month the company reached 1.500 video borescope inspections. The major part of the work was done for TAM, where we have a firm agreement to perform this job nationally. Tropical has been under contract with TAM for over three years, recently renewing the contract for another three years. Besides TAM, we also do video borescopic inspections in engines for VARIGLOG, BRA, TAF, and ABSA and sporadically for non-Brazilian companies such as AIR MADRID and BRITISH AIRWAYS. Tropical also perform inspections of the engines of airplanes from BOEING, AERCAP, etc. After each inspection the report is sent instantaneously by e-mail. The fully completed report will be provided by post in CD format with all reports, photos, films and findings. As the exclusive Brazilian representative of MTU Maintenance of Germany (operating worldwide) Tropical send the company's technicians every year to the Hannover-Germany training division in order to always be updated and prepared for the state of the art technology to perform be able to perform their job on every type of engine. Beside the advantage of a fixed reduced price for each inspection, the client will only pay for the airfare and taxes by regular airline (if preferred by private jet) in addition to lodging and meals, internal transportation costs in cities outside of Sao Paulo, and only if the total time exceeds twelve hours, the client will have additional costs. Tropical is available to perform borescopic inspections whenever necessary. Thus, any airliner can avoid frozen capital invested in expensive equipment that would otherwise be used sporadically, besides the additional costs of maintenance as supply bulbs etc, and travel expenses of his personal beside the customs clearance difficult.
