Composites Technology Research Malaysia was established in 1991. Setting up its headquarters in Malaysia's Information and Communications Technology capital, Cyberjaya, the company also has an advanced design, composites manufacturing and assembly facility in Batu Berendam, Melaka.

Operating in an environment that offers a wealth of technical talent, a mature manufacturing base and government support, CTRM has also benefitted from the extra thrust resulting from manufacturing and labour efficiency operating philosophies. The resultant dynamism and strength has allowed CTRM to establish itself as a vital partner to some of the biggest names in the aerospace industry.

The impetus and experience gained from working with industry giants such as BAE Systems and Airbus has certainly allowed CTRM to chart its path towards establishing itself as a dominant player in composites manufacturing and the preferred partner for aircraft manufacturers.
