Total Modernizes La Porte Technology Center
HOUSTON, Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Petrochemicals and Refining USA, Inc. (us.total.com) unveiled a new Customer Suite and Collaboration Center today at its La Porte Technology Center (LPTC) in La Porte, Texas.
The Customer Suite is an exclusive meeting area for commercial discussions, featuring an executive boardroom and client lounge. The Collaboration Center is a new open access space design concept accessible to all employees within the Polymers business to network and associate.

As part of the ongoing renovations at LPTC, the Application Laboratory will be updated in several steps. Renovations will include a new LED lighting system, installation of new equipment to simulate customer polymer conversion processes, and optimization of the lab layout to improve the overall work space.
Commissioned in 1985, this is the fourth major construction project at LPTC, where more than 50 Polymers Americas employees provide Technical Service, Product Development, Plant Support and Analytical Services.
