Fond du Lac dealership participates in Drive 4 UR School 2017

FOND DU LAC, Wis., Dec. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The 2017-2018 school year is underway, and Holiday Ford, along with support from the Ford Motor Company, is helping one local school through the Drive 4 UR School program. In recent years, Holiday Ford has participated in both Drive 4 Ur School and Drive 4 UR Community events.

The initial event, which took place on September 13, invited the community to stop in and take a test drive in a variety of new Ford vehicles. For every household that took a test drive, Ford promised to donate $20 to the school of the dealership's choice. In total, Holiday Ford raised $5,680.

For 2017, Holiday Ford chose Horace Mann High School, which is located in the North Fond du Lac school district. Dealership staff presented the $5,680 check to the school on December 6. During the presentation of funds, the Horace Mann High School Show Choir performed Christmas carols for the Holiday Ford team including a song personalized for the occasion.

Schools can use the donated funds for music programs, booster clubs, sports or any of the other miscellaneous school operating expenses. Ford first began the program in 2007, and since then, Ford has donated over $35 million to local schools and communities.

Questions about the event can be directed to a member of the Holiday Ford team at 855-200-4348. The dealership's inventory can also be found in person at 390 North Rolling Meadows Drive or online at www.holidayfordusa.com.
