NSN 7H-1285-01-279-7271, Qty 1 LT, Delivery FOB Origin--The requirement is for operation Performance Based Logistics program applicable to and in support of the U.S. Navy's Nato MK 57, Mod 2 through 9(Seasparrow)and the MK23 TAS. It is the U.S. Navy's intent to move from a traditional Navy support to and arrangement where the prospective contractor acts as the Government's Commercial stock point. The requirement covers 913 items managed currently by NAVICP for the systems noted.In addition to Navy and Coast Guard Requirements, this acquisition will cover FMS customers. The contractor will perform all routine inventory management functions for all condition code assets for a fixed lot price. A 5 year Fixed Price Award Fee Contract is contemplated which includes 2 base periods and 3 one year options.
