RealWear Adds Global Enterprise and Fortune 500 Companies to Pioneer Program

RealWear, makers of the HMT-1, the first voice-driven, completely hands-free, head-mounted tablet for connected industrial workers, today announced it has added global enterprise and Fortune 500 customers to its growing list of Pioneer Program members. The Pioneer Program gives members early access to the HMT-1 hardware along with the ability to develop and prototype for the head-mounted tablet. More than 100 major industrial enterprises, channel partners, integrators, and software solution partners have signed on as Pioneer Partners and are already using the HMT-1 in real-world scenarios.

The newest members of the Pioneer Program, made up of leading aerospace, automotive, technology, and telecommunication companies, include:

• ABB

• Ford

• Accenture

• Honeywell

• Airbus

• Stanley Black & Decker

• AT&T

• UPS

• Boeing

• Verizon

• Dassault Systemes

• Volvo

• Dell

“That some of the world’s most revered companies recognize the benefits of the HMT-1 is a huge validation of the market need for our product,” said Andy Lowery, CEO, RealWear. “As we approach the HMT-1’s general availability, the real-world experience that these companies have already put the HMT-1 through has reinforced our position that our product will transform how work gets done by today’s connected industrial workers.”

RealWear’s endorsement from the global business community comes as the company has built increasing momentum since its introduction in January 2017. Awarded “Best Enterprise Solution” at Wearable Technology Show 2017 in London, England, the RealWear HMT-1 has received global acclaim for its innovation and is now in use in seven countries and in 10 languages. General availability of the HMT-1 will commence in July 2017.

RealWear lets you free your hands with the HMT-1 head-mounted tablet designed for skilled technicians and engineers in field service, equipment inspection, maintenance, and complex manufacturing assembly. Its intuitive, hands-free interface allows voice control of existing Android tablet and smartphone apps. Intended for remote video collaboration, technical documentation, industrial IoT data visualization, assembly and maintenance instructions, and streamlined inspections, the HMT-1 is a safer, faster and smarter way for workers to get their jobs done in harsh and loud field and manufacturing environments.
