The tornados that affected East Texas took several lives, injured more than 50 people and left hundreds of homes damaged, which left many residents homeless.

“Stream Cares’ primary mission is to help those affected by homelessness, in all its forms, including natural disasters,” said CEO and President Larry Mondry. “We’ve worked with the American Red Cross in the past with our mission and we’re so grateful for their efforts to help those in our own backyard.”

“We’re very thankful for Stream Cares’ donation,” said Keith Rhodes, CEO, American Red Cross North Texas Region. “More than 100 Red Cross workers responded following the tornados in East Texas. Stream Cares’ donation helped us serve nearly 13,000 meals, deliver 4,600 relief items, and provide more than a dozen overnight stays in two shelters.”

During the employees’ welcome celebration for Stream’s new offices on Monday, May 22, 2017, located at 14675 Dallas Parkway Suite 150 Dallas, TX 75254, Stream Cares presented a check to the American Red Cross for $15,000. During Ignition 2017, the Stream Cares Foundation announced they would donate $1 for every new customer sign up in April; these funds were included in the $15,000 donation to the American Red Cross.
