Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Announces Pricing of Registered Direct Offering
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE MKT: AMPE) today announced that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with investors providing for the registered sale of approximately $6.3 million of shares of common stock and accompanying warrants to purchase shares of common stock with an exercise price of $0.76 per share, at a combined purchase price of $0.60 per share and accompanying warrant to purchase one share of common stock.
The warrants are exercisable six months after issuance and have a term of five years from the date of issuance. The closing of the sale of securities is expected to take place on or about June 7, 2017, subject to certain customary closing conditions.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for working capital and general corporate purposes, including funding of the Ampion(TM) clinical trial.
