Advanced Onion Provides IT Support on Potential $92M Contract for US Naval Education

Advanced Onion, Inc. (AO) was one of eleven Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) to win a multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) task order contract this July.

This IDIQ provides a wide range of information technology (IT) support services for the Naval Higher Education Information Technology Consortium (NHEITC), which includes AO’s long-term customer, the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), as well as the Naval War College and U.S. Naval Academy. Each contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. If all options are implemented, the contract will be completed by July 2022 and reach a maximum value of $92,261,110.

Advanced Onion looks forward to supporting upcoming task orders to satisfy important requirements, which are being contracted by the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center in San Diego, CA. They will facilitate $1,000 in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds to each awarded contractor.

Paul Temple, Chief Executive Officer of AO, responds, “We are proud to have been selected for this extremely important mission supporting the US Navy educational institutions. The work involved here is the IT backbone enabling the education of our fine military members in the Navy, as well as other services.”

Valerie Linhoff, Director of Contracts & Proposals at AO, will also serve as Program Manager overseeing this effort. Advanced Onion pushes forward with a team of personnel who are dedicated to accomplishing the tasks put forth on this IDIQ in a highly efficient and quality-driven manner.
