Filld Expands Partnership with car2go in Vancouver and Portland
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Filld, the leading mobile fueling service that delivers gas directly to customers' cars, is announcing today a partnership expansion through the Pacific Northwest with widely popular car-sharing company, car2go. Effective immediately, the car2go network of vehicles in Vancouver, Canada will be refueled by Filld's mobile fueling service with service in Portland, Oregon beginning soon.
Through the partnership, Filld will help car2go and their members ensure that car2go vehicles maintain adequate fuel levels for the frequent car-sharing trips that are made daily, taking the average refuel time to under ten minutes. Filld adds those vehicles to its daily algorithmically-determined route, cost-effectively alleviating the need for traditional gas station fueling by car2go vehicle support teams.
This partnership is the first of its kind between a mobile fueling service and a car-sharing company and is yet another example of the value Filld provides to individual, commercial and corporate customers. Building on the success of Filld's inaugural launch with car2go in Seattle earlier this year, Vancouver and Portland are the latest on a list of new market rollouts expected throughout 2017.
