As part of the new alignment, Riverchase welcomes board-certified dermatologist Sandy Martin, MD, FAAD to its team of practitioners. The office, located at 13641 Metropolis Avenue, Suite 102, in Fort Myers will continue to offer high quality dermatology services patients have come to know and trust from both Martin Dermatology and Riverchase Dermatology.
Sandy Martin, MD, FAAD received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. His post-doctoral training included an internal medicine internship followed by a residency in Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas. He was Chief Resident of Dermatology at Baylor in 1980 and was one of the most published young dermatologists at the time. Dr. Martin has been recognized with various awards and honors including Alpha Omega Alpha and the medical honor society. He has also been awarded TOP DOCTOR status by Castle Connolly US News & World Report for the past five consecutive years. He is considered one of the foremost experts in diagnostic and therapeutic dermatology, working closely with each patient to develop an individualized plan of treatment to enhance the holistic approach.
