ChartLogic Honored with Service Member Patriot Award for Support of Guard and Reserve

ChartLogic, a division of Medsphere Systems Corporation, has been awarded the Service Member Patriot Award by Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense (DoD) program. The Patriot Award is given after nomination by an employee and recognizes the effort to support members of the Guard and Reserve through flexible scheduling, time off before and after deployment, caring for families and granted leaves of absence, if necessary.

The ESGR recognized both the ChartLogic organization and Executive Vice President Chris Langehaug, who received the Citizen Patriot award. Langehaug is himself a veteran, having served eight years in U.S. Army Special Operations as a U.S. Army Ranger, Jungle Warfare Instructor and with the Special Forces Group.

“As an organization and as a leader, the best way we can support our collective national defense is by providing our employees with the time to serve in the Guard and Reserve and the certainty that we support their efforts completely,” Langehaug explained. “We appreciate this award from the ESGR and the recognition of how important citizen soldiers are to America’s security interests and to the development of fully engaged leaders and citizens.”
