MECHANICSBURG, Pa., Aug. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

WHAT: ReVital, a new outpatient cancer rehabilitation
program, is set to launch throughout SSM
Health Physical Therapy's network of more than
60 locations in the St. Louis region this
month. The Select Medical-owned program will
            provide comprehensive cancer rehabilitation
services to people impacted by cancer and its
treatment in order to restore their function
            and quality of life.

The ReVital program at SSM Health Physical
            Therapy will provide a distinctly
            comprehensive approach to cancer
rehabilitation for the St. Louis community.
The program draws on the collective expertise
of a team of specialists including: physical,
            occupational, speech and cognitive therapists;
            psychologists; neuropsychologists; and other
            clinicians. ReVital therapists will provide
patients with a customized treatment plan to
            meet each individual's needs.

WHY: The number of U.S. cancer survivors is expected
to exceed 20 million by 2026, according to the
American Cancer Society and National Cancer
Institute. Evidence shows that more than 53
percent of adult cancer survivors experience
at least one physical impairment caused by
            chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery.
            Pain, fatigue, lymphedema, balance issues,
numbness and many other common side effects
can be improved and managed by specially
            trained clinicians.

WHEN: ReVital community education events will be held
throughout the St. Louis region at the
following dates, times and locations. These
free sessions will provide cancer survivors
