Allegiance Software offers consumers new integration service with Forest Incentives

FARGO, N.D., Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Allegiance Software is proud to announce its new integration offering with Forest Incentives.

This Allegiance/Forest integration works in conjunction with the Forest Direct(TM) sourcing and fulfillment service. The new features fully automate the processes using the Forest Web Gateway, providing Allegiance users a streamlined experience that will make their premium processing seamless.

Prior to the integration, development staff had to create order files and then log onto the Forest website to upload the information before any of the file could be accepted. There was additionally a separate process to create shipping detail files to upload into Allegiance for the donor record updates. With the new system, these previously time-consuming tasks can be automated.

"Non-commercial broadcasters can now set up each thank you gift to ship automatically when a designated amount or percentage of the pledge amount has been paid," said Forest CEO John Vernile. "This new feature will help stations manage and streamline their sustainer donor gift fulfillment."

Within the Premium Label run, when the donor has selected a "Direct Ship" item, the order will now be sent over to Forest via an API call automatically, allowing Allegiance users to focus their resources on other aspects of fundraising.

The new integration will eliminate the daily manual file uploads, increase the speed of individual donor fulfillment and help reduce the potential of duplicate file uploads. Upon order fulfillment, Forest will run a batch sweep nightly to send the shipping information back to Allegiance, updating the donor's shipping date, tracking number and shipping method.

"With this automation, Allegiance users can simply view the donor's record to see these shipping details," Vernile said. "This integration will be a game changer for non-commercial media and Allegiance users."
