Manufactured exclusively in the USA by BoostBox H2, an energy technology company based in Boulder, CO, the patented technology is a fuel cell-based hydrogen on demand solution for the multiple diesel-based industries focused on increasing fuel efficiency, improving emissions, lowering maintenance costs and extending engine life. The BoostBox H2 system’s rugged design has been tested to the same real-world and strict standards required of truck manufacturers around the world (Freightliner, Cummins, Mercedes, etc.) with millions of miles of on road use as well as by some of the most capable testing partners including the University of West Virginia and Element Materials Technology (formally Cascade Tek).

Among diesel fuel consumers such as the trucking industry, the number one pain point and largest expense is fuel. With over 8.5 million older Class 8 vehicles on America’s roads today, fleet owners and owner/operators know this all to well. Other critical issues among truck operators include lowering maintenance costs and extending the life of their vehicles. Until now, and the unveiling of the BoostBox H2 technology, existing solutions for fuel efficiency have revolved mostly around aerodynamics and the use of filters to reduce emissions. In reality, these filter technologies actually produce a negative impact on fuel efficiency.

With an average fuel savings of 10% (many experience much higher results), and with an average reduction in overall emissions of 65% (in some cases measurements of an 85% reduction in particulates and 30% cut in greenhouse gases have been found), the Return On Investment (ROI) of the BoostBox H2 is estimated to be between 12-16 months or sooner.

"My oil temperature is running on overage about 50 degrees cooler. My pyrometer is running 100- 150 degrees cooler on hard pulls. I pull oil samples regularly and the oil has been cleaner,” said Mike Reidhead, B&B Express.

“My truck pulls a lot better. I really like the torque,” S&T Farmlines Inc.

“There’s a power difference, no question. I’m able to go 300 more miles before regens,” B&M Services

“I have been running the BoostBox H2 system on our vehicle for almost a year and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We’re reducing our fuel and overall operating costs and getting more out of our vehicle,” said Jeffery Ashby, independent RV owner. “Fuel is my #1 cost on the 80k+ miles we drive every year and controlling our costs are critical. Plus I can feel it in my foot – I have to back the pedal off because of the increased drivability. The performance is amazing, especially pulling hills and mountain passes.”

“The BoostBox H2 has been a long-time in coming but its time is now. We know the patented technology works and we know any industry using diesel technology will benefit from the fuel savings, lower maintenance costs and overall improved performance,” said BoostBox H2 CEO/CTO David L. Rechberger. “Of course, we all win when we save money as we help save our environment with fewer emissions being discharged. We see the technology as a true game-changer in industries ranging from trucking to marine; construction to agriculture; the military and beyond.”
