Graña y Montero Announces the Formation of an External Advisory Board

Graña y Montero S.A.A. (NYSE:GRAM) (BVL:GRAMONC1) (“the Company” or “Graña y Montero”) a leading Engineering and Construction company, announced today the formation of its new External Advisory Board, which will have the task of contributing to the Board's management on corporate governance and strategic business issues, and also adding efforts in the tasks of the Committee of Risks and Compliance.

Following the search for expert profiles on the best practices of Corporate Governance, Ethics and Compliance, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Augusto Baertl presented to the members of the External Advisory Board: Dr. Javier Tovar, lawyer specializing in legal strategies for regulatory and corporate affairs; Mrs. Barbara Bruce, a recognized professional in the business environment as well as in business in Peru, and Ms. Gemma Aiolfi, Director of Compliance and Corporate Governance at the Basel Institute on Governance of Switzerland, who will provide the international vision.

"The External Advisory Council will have key functions for the new stage of Grupo Graña y Montero, by providing an external and independent vision on issues related to Corporate Governance, Ethics and Compliance. As part of the strengthening process that the company is going through, we seek to advance towards international standards of the mentioned areas to become an international reference. Today we will move towards this objective hand in hand with the contributions of the External Advisory Council," said Augusto Baertl, Chairman of the Graña y Montero Group.

As a result, the Group consolidates one more step in its "Committed to the Future" program, with expertise in the legal, business and international front, through the three outstanding professionals who from now on join externally as a consultant body of the Board in matters of Corporate Governance, Ethics and Compliance.
