The concept of FoxxVault(TM) started as a result of founder, Brett Pellicano, experiencing one of the worst days of his life. The day began with 'surfs up' so Brett grabbed his board and headed toward the beach. He found a parking space, but couldn't find his hide-a-key and hastily stashed his car keys in its unlocked gas-cap.

After a great day catching waves, he came back to find his car not where he left it. As Brett tells the story, after several agonizing hours of trying to find his car, talking to the police, dealing with his soon to be ex-agent, he finally accepted his fate, and had what he refers to as, "a real cognitive understanding of the unintended consequences of my false sense of security. A true moment of clarity when left powerless to do any of the things I wanted or needed to do. In other words, that one complacent decision screwed with my world so much I had to change it!"

For the better part of two years, it became Brett's mission to develop a way to truly safeguard people's vehicles by protecting the keys that start them.
