Consulting Magazine Names Protiviti's Nancy Pechloff One of the 2017 Women Leaders in Consulting

MENLO PARK, Calif., Oct. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nancy Pechloff, a regional managing director with global consulting firm Protiviti, has been named to Consulting magazine's 2017 Women Leaders in Consulting list. This annual award recognizes top female executives who have made a significant impact on the consulting profession. Pechloff is receiving the Lifetime Achievement award for her distinguished career spanning four decades.

Pechloff joined Protiviti in 2004 as the managing director of the St. Louis office, which she grew significantly during her 10-year leadership. As regional managing director, she is currently responsible for more than 750 professionals as well as in demand by clients for her extensive internal audit expertise. Pechloff's career began with Arthur Andersen in 1973, where she became one of the first women partners. She subsequently held several global leadership positions, including leading the Enterprise Group's IPO segment, with revenues of $500 million worldwide. She served on the Global Chairman's Advisory Council and was a founding member of Andersen's 'Growth and Retention of Women' initiative.

"We're incredibly proud of this recognition for Nancy," said Joseph Tarantino, president and CEO of Protiviti. "Her contributions during her consulting career make Nancy an extraordinary role model for our entire firm and the consulting profession. We congratulate her for this well-deserved acknowledgement of her many achievements."

In addition to her consulting career, Pechloff served on the adjunct faculty of the Olin School of Business at Washington University at St. Louis for two years teaching auditing and financial reporting and was the Western Illinois Distinguished Alumnus and University Executive-in-Residence (2010). She has held a wide variety of professional and community leadership roles, including serving on the audit committee of a publicly held regional bank. Pechloff currently serves on the boards of Phoenix Textile and Quad Plus.

Previous Protiviti recipients of the Women Leaders in Consulting award were Senior Vice President Barbara Rothenstein (2013), Managing Director Shaheen Dil (2014), Managing Director Yasumi Taniguchi (2015) and Managing Director Susan Haseley (2016). Protiviti was also recognized recently in Consulting magazine's 2017 Best Firms to Work For rankings.

The 2017 Women Leaders in Consulting honorees will be formally celebrated at an awards dinner on November 16 in New York City. Profiles of each leader will be published in the December 2017 edition of Consulting magazine.
