IQMS to Present at FABTECH 2017 on How Metal Fabricators and Manufacturers Can Double Plant Output to Drive Growth

IQMS, a leading manufacturing ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) authority, today announced that IQMS CMO Steve Bieszczat and Northern Industrial Manufacturing Vice-President Jeff Hohlfeldt will jointly present at FABTECH 2017. Together, they will discuss real-world best practices that metal fabricators and manufacturers can employ to double plant output and ensure on-time delivery to drive growth.

FABTECH, North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event attracts 50,000 attendees. In addition to presenting, IQMS also will exhibit its integrated MES and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at FABTECH in booth #C40830. The event runs November 6-9, 2017 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Doubling Plant Output to Drive Growth

Bieszczat and Hohlfeldt will present the session “Doubling Plant Output and Delivering On Time, Every Time – How to Make It Happen.” Together, they will discuss what it takes to double plant output, deliver on time, every time, and maintain zero defective parts per million (ppm).

Bieszczat will begin by presenting manufacturers’ responses to a recent survey by IQMS about the key factors that drive their business growth. Hohlfeldt will then share insights on how Northern Industrial Manufacturing, a tier 1, 2, and 3 automotive supplier, has overcome its manufacturing challenges to sustain the GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award for the last four years. Additionally, Bieszczat and Hohlfeldt will review how creating a culture of excellence and workforce development are essential for driving quality.

The session will be held 2:50 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. as part of the “Job Shop Solutions” track on Tuesday, November 7, in room 401 D.
