Logis-Tech Inc. Celebrates Thirty Years in Prince William County

Prince William County congratulates Logis-Tech, inc. (LTi) on its thirtieth anniversary as an industry leader in the professional services and logistics engineering field. LTi is an award winning ISO 9001:2015 registered small business specializing in responsive, cost-effective solutions for the complex logistics, training, and operational issues facing commercial, government and military clients. Today, the company employs over 70 full-time and 97 part-time staff operating in field locations capable of serving all 50 U.S. states and select international locations.

Established in 1987 as a two-man operation, LTi’s ability to consistently provide unique and value added products and services to its customers inevitably led to its growth and expansion. By 2004, having outgrown its Alexandria facility, LTi began looking for a new home that was business friendly and strategically located to facilitate their employees’ commute. To that end, the company needed to look no further than Prince William County. Now its home for the past thirteen years, Prince William County provides the climate conducive to LTi’s continued success. “Our total satisfaction with Prince William County, particularly with the supportive business environment here, ensures our continued stay in the county,” said Roland Berg, Founder and CEO, LTi.

“We congratulate LTi on the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary,” said Jeff Kaczmarek Executive Director, Prince William County Department of Economic Development. “Thirty years in business is no small feat and to have done so while achieving the level of expansion and success as LTi has accomplished is quite exceptional. We are proud to have such an innovative and dynamic company as part of our business community and look forward to partnering with LTi to ensure its continued success,” he added.

As for the keys to its success, LTi credits and leverages the insight and technical knowledge based on Mr. Berg’s extensive military experience. However, the company also cites “innovation” as the cornerstone of its growth and development. Through its development of innovative software, products and services to enhance military readiness and reduce maintenance costs, LTi has advanced the application of its technologies by customizing and adapting them to the needs of its commercial clients. As a result, the Commonwealth of Virginia formally recognized LTi for its success in commercialization of technology through the federal government’s Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program. LTi was also awarded the National-level Tibbett’s Award for superior SBIR commercialization achievement.
