Gates Appoints Grant Gawronski As President, Americas Region Effective December 4, 2017

DENVER, Dec. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Gates Corporation, a global, diversified industrial manufacturer of power transmission and fluid power solutions, today announced the appointment of Grant Gawronski as President, Americas Region effective December 4, 2017. He will report to Ivo Jurek, Chief Executive Officer.

In his role with Gates, Gawronski will focus on executing the Americas Regional strategies with specific oversight of Gates' Commercial Original Equipment and Replacement businesses along with the company's Oil & Gas business interests.

Gawronski is an accomplished senior executive with broad leadership experience most recently holding the position of Group President - Electrical Industrial and Infrastructure at Eaton Corporation. Prior to this role, Grant had a distinguished 10 year career at Cooper Industries where he served as Group President.
