Xcel Energy Stock Begins Trading on Nasdaq

Xcel Energy Inc. (Nasdaq:XEL), a leading electric & gas utility and renewable energy leader, today began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market (Nasdaq). The company announced a voluntary transfer from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to Nasdaq last month.

Xcel Energy is the first Fortune 500 utility listed on Nasdaq. The company serves 3.6 million electric and 2.0 million gas customers across eight Western and Midwestern states and is the nation’s No.1 utility wind energy provider, a ranking it’s held for more than a decade.
