Haywood Regional Medical Center Deploys Matrix Analytics' LungDirect to Follow Patients at Risk for Developing Lung Cancer
DENVER, Jan. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Haywood Regional Medical Center (Clyde, NC) has deployed LungDirect, a first in class pulmonary incidentaloma and lung screening management software. LungDirect is a proprietary and efficient way for providers to manage patients at risk for developing lung cancer. Oftentimes a small spot on the lungs is identified when a CT scan is performed for something other than suspicion of lung cancer, creating a complex management challenge for hospital systems. LungDirect alerts providers when a new nodule patient or lung screening patient is newly detected, and helps to ensure each patient receives appropriate follow-up care.
