Summit Broadband Acquires City of Leesburg Fiber Utility Group
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Summit Broadband and the City of Leesburg have completed the transaction in which the telecommunications company has purchased the City's Communications Utility.
Finalized earlier today, the sale includes all the utility's fiber infrastructure assets and customer accounts. Moving forward, Summit Broadband will complete the integration, focusing on a transition that is seamless from a network, information technologies, and a customer service standpoint. No action will be required from existing customers.
