RICHMOND, Va. and LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Feb. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- McKesson Medical-Surgical and Sysmex America today announced plans for McKesson to be the exclusive distribution partner for Sysmex's new XW-100 automated hematology analyzer, the first Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-waived, complete blood count (CBC) diagnostic instrument. Once prepared for each day's use, the Sysmex XW-100 allows health care professionals to provide patients with blood test results in as few as three minutes.

Its innovative software contains safety lockouts, fail-safe and alert mechanisms to provide accurate results.
