Target Logistics Expands Permian Basin Capacity in New Mexico

Target Logistics Management, LLC ("Target Logistics"), a global leader in remote accommodations and the largest provider of turnkey workforce housing in the U.S., announced today a 120-bed expansion to its Carlsbad Lodge in New Mexico.

The additional single-occupancy accommodations, complete with private rooms and bathrooms, will bring the lodge’s total capacity to 456 beds. The expansion is slated to be completed by the end of this month.

“We are committed to being where our customers need us, when they need us, which is why we are working to ensure our network of Permian Basin lodges extends to every part of the region, including New Mexico,” said Target Logistics President and Chief Executive Officer Brad Archer. “We appreciate the trust our customers have placed in our team to provide their employees with great food, a good night’s sleep and an environment that promotes safety and productivity the other twelve hours they are not on location and no matter where they are in the basin.”

The company has announced a series of Permian expansions since the start of 2018, which upon completion will increase its capacity to 3,276 beds across its expansive regional lodge network.

“With the largest network of workforce housing in the Permian, we can provide our customers with the flexibility to book accommodations across our full footprint in the basin and not be limited to a specific lodge,” said Target Logistics Senior Vice President of Business Development & Marketing Troy Schrenk. “This model gives our customers a competitive edge as production priorities change and their employees shift from field to field.”

As is the case with other Target Logistics properties, the Carlsbad Lodge is tailored to meet the needs of the customers operating in the region. The lodge features 100 percent private guest rooms with individual en suite bathrooms, a 24-hour dining room, around-the-clock security, controlled-entry access cards and. Target Logistics also maintains a “zero tolerance” drug and alcohol policy at all of their lodges.

With the additional premium rooms added to the lodge, Target Logistics will own and/or operate 21 properties in the United States and Canada with more than 10,000 total beds in its North America network.
