Auction House Japan Now Delivering Cars with JUMVEA Certified Auction Sheets to Mauritius

For this purpose, Auction House Japan has taken steps to ensure convenience of customers in Mauritius by providing Auction Sheet Authenticity Certification services from Japan Used Motor Vehicle Export Association (JUMVEA).

This decision was made in response to a requirement made effective by the regulatory authorities of Mauritius on 22nd January 2018. This directed that all used vehicles purchased from Japanese Auction Houses and imported to Mauritius must have verified and authentic Auction Sheets.
The new policy was announced in order to subjugate the import of used vehicles with falsified or altered auction sheets, an issue which was resulting in damage to consumer trust and confidence. Auction House Japan has taken the necessary steps to make sure that all vehicles exported by the company fulfil the certification requirements.

Mauritius regulatory bodies have authorized JUMVEA, a notable inspection agency, to issue Authenticity Certificate of Untampered Auction Sheet for all used Japanese cars imported to Mauritius. This certification also involves verifying other specifications such as authentic auction house, correct mileage, chassis number, manufacturing date and registration year.

Auction House Japan has complied with this requirement by commencing the certification of auction sheets for all cars exported to Mauritius through JUMVEA for the facilitation of its customers.

This service will allow customers to ensue importation of vehicles to Mauritius with ease and save them from making additional efforts to attain JUMVEA certification on their own for customs clearance.
