SiteSeer Professional Introduces HERE Map Data
BOISE, Idaho, Feb. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This month, SiteSeer Technologies rolled out a major enhancement by incorporating HERE map data into the platform. This add-on to SiteSeer gives users access to over three million business and point-of-interest locations. This includes over 7,500 retail, restaurant, and service chains, shopping centers, and business headquarters.
Tom Kessler, chief information officer of SiteSeer Technologies, says that HERE data will provide detailed business locations, points of interest, and other market features, including both national chains and smaller regional chains. "These features create a comprehensive data layer that makes SiteSeer's functionality more robust and detailed," he says. According to HERE, which offers cloud-based location platform services, to be useful for businesses, map data requires accuracy--and the real world changes up to 25% annually. HERE Technologies has been building new types of maps since 2005, augmenting base maps with highly accurate features of road geometry and detailed location data.
