Parksmart Recognizes Atlas10 Project for Innovation and Sustainability
CINCINNATI, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Parksmart program, administered by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), recently recognized the new green surface parking lot at Procter & Gamble's Mason Business Center as a demonstrator site.
The site is one of only six in the world recognized by Parksmart for identifying and implementing best practices in sustainable surface parking design and operation and is one example of how P&G is building sustainability into its facilities and operations.
Atlas10, a Cincinnati-based company, assessed the pavement conditions, procured resources, and project managed the sustainable surface parking site to conserve energy and construction materials and to reduce operating costs. Its environmentally friendly design also acknowledges parking's important role as a transformative force for the sustainability of a community.

The project was recognized during a presentation at Procter & Gamble's Mason Business Center on Feb. 2 that also featured partners Jones Lang LaSalle, Neyra, SurfaceTech and 10 Mile Creek.
