Hunt Military Communities Launches New Nonprofit Organization

Hunt Military Communities Mgmt., LLC (“HMC”), a subsidiary of Hunt Companies, Inc. (“Hunt”), is honored to announce that it has launched a new nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. The Hunt Heroes Foundation (“HHF”) focuses its efforts on supporting the military men and women who live in the homes, neighborhoods, and communities where Hunt employees live and work.

HHF encourages growth and development by funding projects that address community challenges in the areas of health, education, housing and overall community support. Its focus is to improve the quality of life for military families who sacrifice so much day-in and day-out.

“We are so excited to introduce our new nonprofit, Hunt Heroes Foundation,” stated John Ehle, President of HHF. “With frequent deployments, long Temporary Duty Stations, and other challenges facing our military families, this new organization will help ensure that we can support our residents and communities throughout a variety of outlets.”

HHF will help bring a focus on supporting its residents and employees in reaching their best potential through partnerships, donations and activities. HHF will strengthen the bond between Hunt, its residents, employees and communities. Currently, HHF has an association with wear blue: run to remember a national nonprofit running community that honors the service and sacrifices of the American military. Through generous donations, HHF has recently contributed more than $20,000 to wear blue and has helped orchestrate more than 20 Memorial Day runs throughout the nation.

HHF also sponsors an annual Helping Hands Day, which last year supported more than 30 local nonprofit organizations. HHF raised more than $55,000 in its first month of operation.

“The overwhelming support demonstrates how committed we really are,” concluded John Ehle. “We look forward to seeing how much Hunt Heroes Foundation grows and how many people and communities we can help.”
