Smithers Avanza Toxicology Services to Offer Two Presentations at 2018 Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting

Smithers Avanza Toxicology Services, a contract research organization (CRO) supporting the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, will offer a presentation and poster at this year’s Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting to be held March 11-15 in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, several representatives from Smithers Avanza Toxicology Services will be on hand to talk with attendees at booth #1123 in the exposition center.

Dr. Shakil Saghir, Principal Toxicologist, Smithers Avanza Toxicology Services, will present “Use of KMD in Regulatory-Mandated Toxicity Testing of Non-Pharmaceuticals: From Concept to Application” at the roundtable session on Wednesday, March 14 at 4:30 p.m.

Smithers Avanza will also feature the poster presentation “Geriatric Toxicology: Understanding Human Relevance of Toxicities Observed at Late-Stage of Long-Term Studies” (Poster Board #P709 in the Exhibit Hall), authored by Dr. Shakil Saghir and Dr. Michael Dorato. Dr. Saghir will be on hand to discuss the poster.
