On March 18, IRI’s Lynne Gillis will present a session during Shoptalk’s Grocerytalk program. During her session, “Exploring the CPG Shopping Habits of Generation Z,” Gillis will take a deep dive into the growing purchase power of Generation Z (ages 21 and under) and how their attitudes toward CPG brands will force a change in brand and retailers’ marketing strategies.

 

WHY:

As Gen Z begins to form shopping habits, brand loyalties and purchase preferences, brands and retailers will need to adjust their marketing strategies to meet the distinct behaviors of this generation. This session will shed light on the attitudes Gen Z has toward CPG brands, which brands are getting it right, and how others can find success with this demographic.
